Laurie Silverbergs berufliche Kompetenzen liegt in den Feldern internationale Politik, akademische F\u00fchrung und institutionelle Transformation. Sie wirkte an hochkar\u00e4tigen Projekten beispielsweise f\u00fcr den G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council (GEAC), die UNESCO und das Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin f\u00fcr Sozialforschung (WZB) mit und war dar\u00fcber hinaus in leitenden Funktionen an der University of Wisconsin t\u00e4tig. <\/p>\n

Wissenschaftliche Grundlagen, praktische Auswirkungen<\/h2>\n

Mit einem Doktortitel in Musikwissenschaft von der University of Pennsylvania und akademischer Erfahrung als Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Humanities an der Columbia University bringt Laurie Silverberg einen besonderen Blickwinkel in ihre Beratungst\u00e4tigkeit. Ihre historische Forschungsarbeit \u00fcber Musik, Politik und Nationalismus in der DDR f\u00fchrte sie zu der Erkenntnis, dass geisteswissenschaftliche Perspektiven f\u00fcr die Bew\u00e4ltigung der globalen Herausforderungen unserer Zeit unerl\u00e4sslich sind.
